Magi: The Labyrinth Of Magic

Since i will be posting about my favorite anime’s here, we have another one worth your time. Magi was the anime I watched maybe two years ago, my search for a great anime led me to it after I was fed up with Naruto and it was a great adventure with our main characters Ali Baba and Alladin. The most interesting thing about the anime was the names at first which made me watch it after reading some of the plot, I guess you’ve heard the stories “Ali Baba and the Forty Theive’s” or “Alladin and the Magic Lamp,” Well combine all these stories (including the adventures of Sindbad) and you get “Magi The Labyrinth of Magic.” It was nothing like I had ever seen before, it had the required Magical fantasy, the cuteness at points of the characters, the story, the characters, the battles; everything was worked out remarkably. And so it made me a fan as it will make you, of course. I like to write about everything that I love even if its my own shaved head(everything has its beauty) and I love Magi. Now lets get to the story and the interest making points in the anime.

Alladin, an extremely kind and young little boy is traveling the world with a genie in his flute or I should call it a “Djin.” In his travels while lurking in a cart full of watermelons and eating most of them he finds Ali Baba Saluja (the watermelons belonged to Ali Baba’s master),Ali Baba, a boy with blonde hair trying to solve his problems in the cruel world where slavery exists as a law and genocide is regular,  Ali Baba wants conquer a dungeon; dungeons according to the anime are mysterious structures that aroused from within the ground a few decades ago and they contain each a Djinn which is a symbol of power in the world. If someone conquers a dungeon, they get a Djinn and unbelievable riches with it. In this mysterious world there is a power known as the “Rukh,” the rukh is an energy form of some type which makes life alive and the rukh has two forms, the dark rukh of the depraved who are trying to change their fate with immoral values and light rukh which lurks around people of the most clean soul or good people. Our main hero Alladin is not just a normal little pervy boy who travels on a magical carpet around the world he is a very rare and powerful being who can control the flow of rukh and borrow any amount of power they want from it and no normal wizard or Djinn vessel user can do that; so Alladin is a lucky charm for Ali Baba, they both conquer a dungeon together. (Want me to write a book on it so you can read it? I dont think so)

Later on things get very troublesome which I can't tell you about because you have to watch it yourself, I’ll boost up the suspense a bit . Another rare being appears who has the same abilities as Alladin but this one is dark and very powerful, he wants to kill Alladin without a second thought. Alladin pays a real toll by his meeting with “Judar,” one of the main villains in the anime; he loses his first true friend which is not Ali Baba, Ali Baba has been chosen to be a king by Alladin. Have fun as you witness the flames of amon shredding Ali Baba's enemies, truly fantastic it is.

Your Lie In April

Have you ever had the feels at just the first episode of an anime? Maybe you have and you know what it’s like. I’m telling you, you are going to fall in love with this anime. Today we will talk about “Your lie in April”, its love, its passion, its magic, it’s perfect, it’s friendship, seen nothing like it. It can show that just how much beautiful life can become when you have passion for something.  Kosei Arima, a piano prodigy, taught well by his sick mother; entered a competition and nearly conquered it before he got a mental breakdown on the stage while performing. It happened because his reason had died, his mother was the reason he played the piano.

Now Kosei doesn’t play the piano and is living his life without color and passion, attending his school with his childhood friends. This is a story of actually four adolescents, one is Kosei, the other is his female friend Tsubaki and another is the pretty boy Watari who is also the captain of the school soccer team and finally a girl who comes after a while, a new friend perhaps, a violinist named Kaori. The violinist is a free spirit, who breaks the chains off of Kosei and makes him look up again and never to look down again. She wants him to play the piano for her sake, by her side while looking up towards her while he plays it with all he’s got. This anime is a must watch and while I am writing about it, I don’t want to tell you the main things about it because they are meant to be watched, they are magic believe me. My salute to “A-1 pictures” For the adaptation (this is the first time im mentioning any studio).

This one girl changes everything in this boy’s life, he falls in love with her and talks to himself about her, “It’s like a scene out of a movie”, he says to himself. Watch it as everything takes on color in Kosei’s world again.
“Thank you for encountering me, ever since that day, my world…even the keyboard, became colorful..”

Hear and see the beauty of it. As I have always said, what I post is worth your time. Watch it for the love of god, watch it.

Gurren Lagann

You get to have a look at it from a new perspective, I’m talking about the future; in a whole new different world. “Gurren Lagann” Is one of the finest anime I have ever set eyes upon. It will give you the dose of awesomeness you’ve been looking for. The things I tell you here are from personal experience. First of all the anime is gorgeous and has a fine touch of giant robots in it, its fancy while at the same time the last battles had a very poor space-time concept, but you’ll still love the battles and the story. It’s a Mecha anime that takes place in a future earth where humans have gone almost extinct and are forced to live like moles under the ground.  The main characters are Simon, Kamina and Yoko.

Simon was a digger who expands the village under the ground; a child born beneath the crust. He finds a weird drill, a type he had never seen before, this drill actually turns out to be a key core to a “Gunmen” (A type of giant robot) And this Gunmen obeys everything that the key holder commands. After this all the action starts, the way it has been designed is remarkable. The young boy Simon defeats a Gunmen that attacks the village right after he finds the drill while “Yoko” A young girl helps a bit in the process. Later on Simon develops a strong crush on Yoko (who is a lot older and breaks his heart while she gets involved with Kamina). Kamina has a big role in the anime, at first I thought that he was Simon’s real elder brother but he was a brotherly figure and an ideal to Simon, the one who encouraged him to go to the surface and fight. Unfortunately one of your favorite characters in the anime eventually dies in battle, leaving Simon paralyzed, discouraged and sure to lose his mind. That’s where a new gorgeous character comes in, “Nia” The beautiful daughter of “Lord Genome” A tyrant ruler of earth who believes that Spiral life forms should not be given power.

I am not going to tell you how she came close to Simon or how she got there in the first place but I will do you a favor, it’s very interesting how she got there  Lord genome is also the one responsible for keeping humans locked up under the ground. This daughter of lord genome, Nia, pulls Simon together after kamina’s death while his team prompts him to lead the battle against “Lord Genome” The battle was amazing and I really thought that the anime would end after this but it went on at full speed and power. I remember it now, it’s all coming back to me, Kamina is my favorite character in the anime and you will have the same opinion on this, in Simon’s greatest battles he remembered that what would Kamina do? I only post here about the best anime and believe me it’s worth your time, worth every second .

Guilty Crown

This one is older and was lauched in 2011. Now that we have come to another one, I want to tell you something, in this anime there’s a character that you would surely fall for. One of the main protagonists and the gorgeous pink haired anime girl “Inori” is the grace of the anime. This gorgeous crush of yours has a bitter biohazard reality behind her. Before our main character “Shu Ouma” met her and before all the fantastic things happened, a horrible event occurred in Japan one day which took a big toll from the country. Japan now unable to protect itself against a biological hazard known as “Apocalypse virus”; sought help from the United Nations to control the virus, in its desperate attempt Japan lost its own freedom. Many years later a terrorist group known as the “Funeral Parlour” rose up for the freedom of Japan. Our main hero “Shu Ouma”; Has been shown a coward and a nobody until he meets up with Inori and ends up getting involved in funeral parlour business and is of course forced to join them because Shu accidently gets the “Power of Kings”, the void genome.

The void genome, i personally think would suit the leader of the funeral parlour more but it suits Shu very well two. It all gets pretty awesome after that and emotional two. I got knocked out of my mind when “Gai Tsutsugami” appeared, that guy is the skeleton of the anime while Inori is the beauty and grace of it and Shu is the kind young boy who didnt plan on being anything.

You cant miss anything about it and I cant tell you everything about it. At some point you might even suspect that "Gai" and "inori" are lovers and poor Shu is hopeless, i'll leave that to you when you watch the anime. I am avoiding the details because you deserve to watch them. One thing that this anime teaches you is that “True love” Is there even when the person you love makes the wrong decisions or has to make wrong decisions; love is there when your loved one is suffering a “Crown of Thorns”, the Guilty Crown of the Guilty King.
The last and most touching thing that I saw about the anime (please forgive me for ruining it) was the death of Shu’s best friend and yes she was a female who cared for him unlike any other; even when he was a nobody. She dies for his sake, I cant tell anymore; just watch it and learn something precious. You’ll enjoy every inch of it.

Arslan Senki

Here’s another one that’s worth watching, the name is “The Heroic Legend of Arslan” And it’s very impressive. Although the anime is not complete yet, they just started the anime adaptation but the episodes they’ve made are fantastic. Arslan Senki is actually history itself in a fun manner, people who hate reading history can watch it, because not all of it is made up.

It has real life sword fighting style but a fictional kingdom that resembles the historical age of iran. It was a novel first and then adapted to a manga and now an anime, surely you understand that it got pretty famous for a reason. Let’s talk about the reasons, firstly it has a very good style and has been given a beautiful touché by the developers and also the main character “Prince Arslan” has a strong resemblance to “Edward Elric” from the famous anime “Full metal Alchemist.”

The Prince of Pars, Arslan, is a very kind young child who is for some mysterious reason has never been allowed closure to his parents, the king and the queen. The prince has been brought up by servants and his old teacher “Vahriz” Who was the only person who taught Arslan almost everything.  Arslan’s father, king “Andragoras” has never lost a battle until he does and loses everything, leaving his kingdom destroyed and himself missing. Arslan’s beloved teacher also gets killed in the battle while the king flees from the battle zone, abandoning his own men, the old man was also the uncle of “Daryun” Who is also Arslan’s protector. The anime shows rare intelligence in the art of war, although the methods are shitty and dishonourable. I was very impressed by a character that later appeared in the anime, “Narsus” Was his name, a great battle strategist. The main antagonist is a mysterious man named “Silver mask” Who has wicked plans. The young, innocent and kind prince must stop him but he is not alone, he has allies and we will see how he defeats the “Luistanian Army.”

The final most interesting thing about the anime which have been shown so far; is the battle for the kingdom of Pars, the Luistanian army took it over even when the walls were high and strong. How did they do it? Now that is a very very good question and the answer is legendary and awesome. Watch it, I can guarantee you will enjoy every inch of it.
